This program has been developed by Heart Beat to assist a certain population requiring special needs. This module may be used as a standalone program of three hours or as an added module to CPR or First Aid training. After completing this course, the trainee will be able to: - Recognize life threatening airway obstructions. - Be able to effectively call for an ambulance - Have the skills and knowledge to perform the Heimlich Manoeuvre on a physically challenged individual.
