Heartsaver® is the Canadian standard in CPR and AED training.
The Heart and Stroke Foundation's Heartsaver® CPR AED Course reflects the science from the 2015 Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. This video-based, Instructor-led course is the standard in CPR and AED training and teaches how to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and provide help until someone with more advanced training arrives to take over.
Heartsaver® CPR AED is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet workplace, volunteer, regulatory or other requirement.
The Heartsaver® CPR AED Course DVD is for use by Heart and Stroke Foundation Heartsaver and BLS Instructors. The Course DVD includes home menu options that allow the Instructor to easily tailor the course they are teaching, with each course module: Adult, Child and Infant, selectable independently.
The Heartsaver® Course DVD is designed to pair with the Heartsaver® Instructor Manual. It contains all of the associated video lessons and practice-while-watching content to support effective classroom delivery of the course.
