The Heart and Stroke Foundation's Heartsaver® CPR AED Course reflects the science from the 2015 Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. This video-based, Instructor-led course is the standard in CPR and AED training and teaches how to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and provide help until more advanced care arrives to take over.
The Heartsaver® CPR AED Instructor Manual is the mandated reference tool and resource for Heartsaver and BLS Instructors to deliver the Heartsaver® CPR AED course. The manul contains instructions and guidance on preparing for the course, as well as teaching, testing and remediation and other important aspects of the course. The Manual is complete with detailed Lesson Plans to guide instructors when conducting the course.
