As a mandatory pre-requisite of this course, participants must first attend a 2 day Heart Beat Inc. Standard First Aid Course.

Heart Beat Inc: ECSI First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Development Course. Completion of this course allows participants to teach 1 and 2 day workplace First Aid/CPR/AED Courses, under the umbrella of Heart Beat Inc.; an authorized Emergency Care and Safety Institute Education Centre. The instructor course offers information on program content and administration; teaching techniques, as well as practical sessions, where participants will each take turns teaching the rest of the group different sections of an actual course. After successfully completing the instructor course, a mandatory team teach with one of our experienced instructors is required before instructors are allowed to teach on their own. This is an ideal program for a large organization which would benefit from implementing its own First Aid Training Program
