Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Heart Beat Inc. has been training people in First Aid and CPR since 1984. From a humble start with a few manikins, and a home-based business, we have evolved into a successful training Centre, offering courses in all levels of First Aid and CPR, as well as Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Experienced Provider (ACLS-EP) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) and International Trauma Life Support (ITLS).

COVID-19 POLICY

FOR HEART AND STROKE COURSES

As per the Heart and Stroke requirement that a policy be added for all Heart and Stroke courses please note the following:

The instructors for Heart and Stroke courses taught through Heart Beat Inc. have been vaccinated against Covid-19
Although vaccination is not required to attend a Heart Beat course it is encouraged. If you are vaccinated or not and feel sick, stay home.
As provincial guidelines change regularly, please check the latest Manitoba health orders before attending a course: https://www.gov.mb.ca/covid19/prs/orders/index.html
We will also be following the Heart and Stroke guidelines for in person courses as detailed here:
