The vast majority (85 per cent) of cardiac arrests happen at home, in public places and workplaces. If you ever witness a cardiac arrest, chances are it will happen to a family member or someone you work with or care about. And that makes it personal.
The Heart and Stroke Foundation's Heartsaver® CPR AED Course reflects the science from the 2015 Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. This video-based, Instructor-led course is the standard in CPR and AED training and teaches how to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and provide help until more advanced care arrives to take over.
The Heartsaver® CPR AED Student Workbook comes complete with two Quick Reference Card (not sold separately): one 7-panel folded card covering adult CPR and AED, and an 8-panel folded card for child CPR and AED and infant CPR.
Includes 74 pages of full-colour images and text, contained within a full-colour soft cover. The final product is saddle-stitched, bundled with the Quick Reference Cards, and shrink-wrapped.
